MCC Swim Team - New Parent Meeting Tuesday, 5/25 at 5:00 P.M.

Hello MCC Swim! What a great first week at practice! It has been so fun for the swimmers to get back in the water and reunite with their summer swim team friends (parents, too!) It has also been fun watching the coaches reactions to seeing the return swimmers who have grown so much over the past two years—a long time in swim team world!

The swim team coordinators will have a short meeting on Tuesday, May 25th at 5:00 p.m. for new swim team families at MCC. Return families are welcome to attend for a refresher since it's been two years since we last did a swim meet together.

This meeting is optional but it can be very helpful to know what to expect at swim meets and more info about how to volunteer.

We will go over:

  • What to expect at a swim meet (how to read a heat sheet, how to mark your child with sharpie so they can keep track of their swim events, what to bring, etc.)
  • How to sign up through MCC Swimtopia and volunteer at the meets (every family needs to work 3 shifts per season or will be charged a $100 fine)
  • How to notify the coaches through the MCC Swimtopia website if your child WILL ATTEND or WILL NOT attend each of the 5 swim meets
